License Plate Reader Cameras
There have been rumors of surveillance cameras being positioned in the community for some time now. So, we are all on the same page, there are no plans to put cameras anywhere in our community with the intent to capture an image of a driver. There are, however, currently considerations to install License Plate Reader cameras at the privacy gates, but only to serve as a license plate identification tool for individuals whose vehicles may damage the privacy gates. We have had several instances including accidents where in the gates have been damaged, and in some cases heavily damaged. The costs to repair these gates sometimes would greatly overrun the cost of the cameras. The License Plate Reader Cameras would be used to recuperate the losses associated with those damaged gates.
