New Membership Access Control System

An email was sent to residents titled “Welcome to Rhombus Key”. This is to host your new DigitalMembership Card for accessing the Blackstone ClubhouseAmenities by using your cell phone. The following information is step-by-step instructions that are crucial to setting up the application correctly on your mobile device. If you did not receive this email, please email blackstoneclubhouse.ca@fsresidential.com and we will register you in the new Membership Card System.

Steps to Register for the new Membership Card System:

1. Open the “Welcome to Rhombus Key” email

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the email and select the App Store option that corresponds to your cell phone type

3. Download the “Rhombus Key” application

4. Open the new application

5. If a pop-up shows asking if you would like to receive notifications, select “Don’t Allow”

6. From the login page, enter the email address you received your welcome email invitation in

7. Select Next then select Request Magic Code

8. You will not receive an access permission email from Rhombus Support titled “Rhombus Key magic password request”

9. Open the “Rhombus Key magic password request” and scroll down to select Login

10. Once you have selected Login, you will be taken back to the application and asked if you would like to view an instruction video. At this point in the process, your DigitalMembership Card has been completed and instruction is not necessary.

11. A pop-up will show asking if you would like to allow access to Bluetooth. Select “YES”

12. A pop-up will show asking if you would like to allow location. Select “ALLOW WHILE USING APPLICATION”

13. To use the digital membership card, you will NOT need to even open the app when you come to the Clubhouse. You will simply need to wave your phone in front of new access point readers that are located in the same place as the prior card readers.

Important Notes:

  • If you do not grant permission to the application for Bluetooth and Location While Using the App, your digital membership card will not function properly

  • If you need assistance with setting up your Rhombus KeyApp, we are happy to help you in the Clubhouse

  • If you would prefer not to have a digital membership app, each household in Blackstone will be given up to, 2free key fobs as an alternative

  • You will be asked to take a new Membership Photo to correspond with the application during one of your visits to use the amenities. This is required to ensure that only residents given access via key fobs and digital membership cards are accessing the Clubhouse.
